L’Agapanthus ‘Africanus Albus’ è una varietà ornamentale caratterizzata da eleganti infiorescenze composte da numerosi fiori bianchi, riuniti in ampi gruppi all’estremità di steli eretti. Il colore chiaro e la forma slanciata dei fiori donano alla pianta un aspetto luminoso e raffinato.
Raggiunge circa 75 cm di altezza e può essere coltivato sia in piena terra sia in vaso. Predilige posizioni soleggiate o a mezz’ombra; la messa a dimora richiede una profondità di circa 20 cm e una distanza di 30 cm tra le piante.
La fioritura avviene da luglio a ottobre e può protrarsi per circa 12 settimane. Gli steli fiorali sono adatti anche al taglio, permettendo di utilizzare i fiori bianchi nelle composizioni floreali.
Agapanthus ‘Africanus Albus’ is an ornamental variety characterised by elegant flower heads composed of numerous white flowers, held in broad clusters at the ends of upright stems. The light colour and slender shape of the flowers give the plant a bright and refined appearance.
It reaches approximately 75 cm in height and can be grown both in the ground and in pots. It prefers full sun or partial shade; planting depth is approximately 20 cm, with a distance of 30 cm between plants.
Flowering takes place from July to October and can last approximately 12 weeks. The flower stems are also suitable for cutting, allowing the white blooms to be used in floral arrangements.
