Il Lilium Asiatico White è un giglio ornamentale dalla luminosa fioritura bianca, caratterizzato da fiori ampi ed eleganti che risaltano con facilità in aiuole, bordure e composizioni da giardino. La pianta raggiunge circa 80 cm di altezza e sviluppa steli fiorali adatti anche alla raccolta come fiore reciso.
Può essere coltivato sia in piena terra sia in vaso, scegliendo una posizione soleggiata o a mezz’ombra. I bulbi vanno piantati a circa 10 cm di profondità, mantenendo una distanza di circa 30 cm tra una pianta e l’altra; dopo la messa a dimora è opportuno ricoprire con terra e annaffiare bene.
La fioritura avviene da maggio a ottobre e dura circa 6 settimane. I fiori bianchi rendono questa varietà particolarmente versatile nelle composizioni ornamentali e sono adatti anche al taglio.
